There are many people who take Mineral and Vitamin supplements to improve their health. According to the latest studies by the Saint Michael’s Hospital ,mineral and Vitamin supplements have no such benefits for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases, stroke, heart attack or premature death. Generally people take vitamin D ,calcium, multivitamin and Vitamin C supplements to add nutrients which they do not get from food. But the latest study proves that these common supplements have no benefits to the human body .
People should be really aware of the supplements they are taking and must make sure that it is applicable to the specific vitamin and mineral deficiencies they have been advised by the doctor. It is always best to follow a healthy diet to gain the required vitamins and minerals instead of having these supplements. So include more vegetables ,fruits and nuts into your diet instead of depending on mineral and vitamin supplements.Even though they cause no harm,they aren’t beneficial either.
