French auto giant Renault has launched an updated version of its entry-level compact hatchback, the KWID. While the car continues to come with the same 0.8-litre and 1-litre powertrain options, Renault has refreshed KWID with many essential and rich features.
The 2019 Renault KWID comes with front disc brakes, which now come with a much needed ABS and EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution) feature. Even a Driver side Airbag and Seat Belt Reminder have been added. Renault has also standardised the rear parking camera across all trims
KWID also features a Traffic Assist Mode in its automatic version. This will help the car creep forward in bumper-to-bumper traffic and keep the car steady on slopes. A speed alert also has been added as a standard feature across all the variants according to the latest safety norms.
The car also comes with an all-new Medianav infotainment system, along with a segment first Reverse Parking Camera. It also has a fully digital instrument cluster with chrome outlines, with aa rear 12V power sockets.
The KWID is priced between Rs. 2.6 lakhs to Rs. 4.63 lakhs (ex-showroom).
