A water lily growing in a forest lake once dreamed of dating a catfish in the same lake where she lived. Finally she found a catfish but every time he came up to meet her, he couldn’t catch his breath. So they sent words which passed through the waters in the form of bubbles-
Him: you smell nice.
Her: You’re so tall.
Him: Your petals, are they soft?
Her: Your whiskers, do they tickle?
One day, a beautiful woman passing by the forest, was captivated by the fragrance of the water lilies so she got her lover to make perfume out of the lily flowers.
And so the Lilly and her family went.
Her petals were nipped and her stem was ripped and she was thrown in a pit.
The next day as the catfish lay lamenting over the loss of his dear love Lilly, the fishermen cast a net and took away the catfish and his friends away.
A fisherman and his family had the catfish for dinner and threw out what remained, eventually he was buried deep into the ground.
There were still a lot of things they both wanted to say but both were equally unfortunate.
