Football’s governing bodies are continuously striving to creating football a higher sport.
And they’re doing a… nice job.
Here are seven new rules coming to the Premier League next season
To prevent delaying, players will currently leave the pitch at the closest point to them.
No more slow walks to the fourth official, taking your wrist tape and shin pads off.
With a defensive wall of 3 or more defenders, attackers aren't allowed among one yard of the wall.
This will purportedly stop opposition players interfering with the wall. That doesn’t appear honest though
Officially no more drop balls! an age old, chaotic technique of restarting play is not any more.
Whoever touches the ball last gets the ball. Pretty straightforward.
Goalkeepers’ behaviour for penalties
Goalkeepers have long been menaces once making ready to face penalties, however they’re being watched.
Next season, they're going to officially not be allowed to:
Touch the goal frame
Move on their line
Sprint off their line
Stand behind the line
From next season, a goal-kick is in play from the instant the ball is kicked.
Before, a goal-kick had to go away the area before being in play. Not any longer.
A goal scored directly from the hand/arm can not be allowed.
This had long been the case, however even accidental handballs are going to be punished. Take notes, strikers!
Players will currently be booked for his or her celebration – whether or not the goal is disallowed.
we have completely no plan WHO thought this was a decent idea. however we’re hardly shocked.
