How much do you think your mom loves you ? Well, this question can never be answered for there is no limit to the love of a mother and we can’t even think of estimating it.
A recent incident that took place in a small village of Pune called Pimpri Chinchwad really establish the fact that we cannot even imagine how much our mothers can do for us. The horrific incident took place when a woman and her 18 months old baby were attacked by a Leopard. The Leopard went away after the woman fought with it bravely and called for help.
The woman and her baby were sleeping outside their Hut. The lady heard the Leopard growl and before she could take some action or run away to escape, the voracious animal caught hold of her son’s head.
The Round forest officer Vishal Adhagale told that the woman started fighting the Leopard immediately with her bare hands. The Leopard let go of her baby’s head but caught hold of her hand. The incident took place when the baby Dnyaneshwar Mali, was sleeping with his parents Dilip and Deepali, outside their hut in the Dholvad village near Ottur in Junnar. The place is around 90 km from Pune city. The incident took place at 1:30 am in the morning and have left them in shock.
“Dilip and Deepali are involved in cutting sugar cane. Like many such labourers in the area, they were also sleeping outside their house. Deepali, aged around 20, woke up on hearing the leopard’s growl. But by that time, the animal had caught hold of Dnyaneshwar’s head,” Vishal Adhagale, the round forest officer said.
He also said, “The forest has been urging the villagers not to sleep in the open and also to keep their domestic animals indoors to avert any leopard attack.”
The baby had marks of Leopard’s teeth on his neck and eyes. He was immediately rescued to the Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital run by Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation.
