Xiaomi has slashed the price of its Mi LED TV 4 Pro 55-inch in India. The TV will now sell for Rs. 47,999, slipping from its initial price of Rs. 49,999. The price has been slashed just a day after Samsung has unveiled its new range of budget 4K UHD Smart TVs in India from Rs. 41,990 onwards.
Xiaomi India’s chief, Manu Kumar Jain, announced the revised price of the TV on Twitter claiming that the Mi LED TV 4 Pro packs a 4K HDR screen and supports Google Assistant. Samsung’s latest 4K TV range in India come with support for HDR, but it lacks Google Assistant.
“World’s thinnest AndroidTV, Mi LED TV 4 PRO 55 is now available at just ₹47,999,” Jain wrote in a tweet.
Xiaomi Mi LED TV 4 Pro 55-inch was initially launched in the country way back in September 2018 and went on sale for the first time in October 2018.
The Xiaomi Mi LED TV 4 Pro is powered by Google’s Android TV OS and supports Google Play Store and even supports built-in Chromecast.
