India is full of talent. Where we already have a great singer, composer and music director from Chennai, AR Rahman, India is so happy and proud to have another Talent from Chennai.
The 13 years old Lydian Nadhaswaram have turned out to be the winner of “The world’s best” TV reality show. He fought with the talents from around 180 countries and bagged the first prize for himself.
Just as amusing as it sounds to have the winner from India at such a young age, his name is as unique. Lydian told in an interview with the singer AR Rahman when asked about his unique name that his father loved music and Lydian was one of the seven modes he was learning back then and Nadhaswaram is the toughest instrument to play.
Lydian joined the KM music conservatory to learn Tabla. But after joining there, he grew a love for the Russian piano studio. He wished to learn that under the guidance of Chatterjee master.
Before winning the show, he was happily playing the piano and tabla at his home with his family. From a pianist, he has evolved into being a percussionist.
Media is suddenly talking about him and this limelight is very new to him. However, he is not a nervous kid. Although he is a little shy but also very confident at the same time.
His teachers, Chatterjee master, Augustine Paul sir and his dad must have been so proud of him.
“Lydian, you should be India’s musical ambassador”. AR Rahman said to him.
Lydian plans to be a part of the group of artists which the SpaceX CEO Elon Musk and Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa plan to ferry to the moon.
This was just the starting of Lydian’s career and he has achieved so much at such a young age. Imagine the potential he has and how much he’s going to achieve in his life.
Lydian Nadhaswaram is an inspiration not just for the Indians but also for people all around the globe.
