JhundAmitabh Bachchan-starrer “Jhund” is set to hit the theatres on September 20 this year.
This film will mark the Hindi directorial debut for Nagraj Manjule, who is well known for directing the Marathi blockbuster “Sairat”.
The movie will be based on the life of Vijay Barse, who founded the NGO Slum Soccer, Jhund’s role will be played by Amitabh as a retired school teacher, who manages to improve the life of street kids by turning them into soccer players. Because of which, he succeeds in keeping the kids away from both drugs and crime.

This sports-drama biopic will be produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Raaj Hiremath, Savita Raj Hiremath and NagrajManjule, under the banner of T-Series, Tandav Films and Aatpaat.
