Pranav Mohanlal’s second movie Irupathiyonnam Noottandu could not meet the expectation of film lovers. The Second Movie of Pranav Mohanlal came with a lot of expectation, but the film did not entertain the audience very well and is likely to fail at the box office. Pranav Mohanlal played the character Role of Appu. The film critics criticized the acting and especially the dialogue delivery of Pranav Mohanlal, as he needs much improvement. They criticized that, the newcomer, is in the shadow of his superstar father Mohanlal all through the film, with viewers being constantly reminded who Pranav is. Even his first name comes on the title card with the name ‘Mohanlal’ flashed across the screen first and Pranav name arrived a few seconds later.
In spite of the title “Irupathiyonnam Nootandu” which is evidently an inspiration from Mohanlal’s super hit classic film “Irupatham Nootandu”, Pranav’s movie has no resemblance to the old one.
