One of the most common hair problems these days is Dandruff. Dandruff is a scalp condition wherein the skin of the scalp starts appearing as flakes. The white powder is the thing that you must have noticed on people’s shoulders and scalp while going by metro, or stopping by a bus stand or at your workplace is actually Dandruff. It not only looks bad but also causes itching and irritation.
One of the major reasons for Dandruff is Pollution. In the Metropolitan cities like Delhi, Mumbai etc what you can’t avoid is Pollution. It’s like there is more pollution in the atmosphere than air. The exact causes of Dandruff are not known but one of the predictive reason is hormones because usually, dandruff starts appearing when you hit puberty.
Coming to its treatment, while there are a number of synthetic products available in the market, it is believed that homemade remedies serve the best. Homemade remedies are actually known to eradicate Dandruff by targeting the root cause.
Here, in this article, I will be sharing with you Guys the three tried and tested recipes of my grandmother to remove dandruff from your hair.
1- Add water to Mustard oil (Sarso Tel) and mix it well. It will start appearing like egg yoke in colour. Gently, using your fingers, apply it in your hair, especially the roots. Do it at least 2-3 times a week and you will witness the results in 40-45 days.
2- According to the length of your hair, shred onions. Preferably 1-2 onions should be shredded. Squeeze the water of these shredded onions. Using cotton, apply that water in your hair. Keep it for 30 mins to an hour and then rinse it off. You will encounter the results in a month’s time.
3- Lemon is a great remedy for Dandruff. Lemon juice should be applied in the hair (using cotton). Keep it for around 30-35 minutes before rinsing it off.
The above-mentioned tips are very simple to perform and give excellent Results. The ingredients of your kitchen work multi-dimensionally. It is just a matter of observance and some skills. In fact, you can find new remedies accordingly. Try looking at the ingredients of your kitchen and try to read about them and the benefits they offer.
Another benefit that these tips offer is that they are dirt cheap. The ingredients are readily available in the kitchen and no special shopping is required to perform them.
