You know that summer is the best time to move into your flip-flops. But more importantly, it is the time to check in your diet. Being outdoors more often make up the risk for health problems such as dehydration, skin sensitivities, and vitamin deficiencies.

So how to check in your diet? It is really simple, you just need to follow some simple steps.

1) Choose more veggies into your diet

2) Try to move into salads

3) Avoid the high-fat meat

4) Do add in as many fruits as possible

 

From my point of view do add these items into your diet as they enrich your body during summer:

1. Corn

Fresh corn in the hot summer is the best choice. I will tell you why? These corns have two antioxidants, lutein, and zeaxanthin, that helps to form a macular pigment that filters out the sun’s damaging rays. And also they help in improvising your eyesight.

2. Iced coffee or tea


It is the best way to start your summer mornings. Drinking a single cup of coffee daily lowers the risk of developing skin cancer. The tea acts as the best method to lower your risk of Alzheimer’s and diabetes.

3. Tomatoes


Summer is the time that you use sunscreen for skin protection, tomatoes are the best choice for that. It contains lycopene which protects your skin from sunburn.

4. Watermelon


Staying hydrated is the most important thing during summer as it keeps your mind sharp and cool. The good news is that drinking water is not only the solution. You can move into melons as they acquire 92% of water. In addition, it delivers skin protection having lycopene in it.

5. Oranges


The sweet fruit is rich in potassium, a crucial nutrient for summer. You lose potassium through sweat which creates muscle cramps. So oranges replenish your supply and keep muscle cramps away. Oranges also have 80% of water in it which keeps you hydrated during summer days.
