When it comes to lying equal pressure on all parts of the body will lead to a good posture in lying with no undue strain on any one area. Lying flat on the back shouldn’t be encouraged because of the danger of supine hypotension.
Pregnancy doesn’t stop you from doing household activities. Tasks, like ironing or preparing food, can be undertaken in a sitting position instead of standing.
