The 2019 Nissan Kicks has been launched in India at last. It will fight in the highly competitive compact SUV segment. Prices start from Rs 9.55 lakhs for the base petrol powered variant. Also along with the new Kicks, Nissan will be offering a 3 years warranty with 3 years Road Side Assistance standard across all the variants for free of cost.
The Nissan Kicks that is in India is slightly bigger in dimensions when compared to the international spec model. The new Kicks will be available in four variants -XL, XV, XV Pre and XV Pre Option. It gets seven single colour options and four dual-tone colour configurations thereby taking the total number of colours to 11.
The New Nissan Kicks is based on the B0 platform just like other Renault Nissan compact SUVs available in India. It boasts of a high mounted bonnet, a V motion grille adorned by unswept headlamps and blacked out auto LED projector lights along with LED DRLs. It even gets a faux coated skid plate and rectangular shaped fog lamps with cornering functions.
Nissan Kicks gets a boomerang-like tail lamp at the rear, and it gets twin spoke 17” machine cut wheels matched with 215/60 cross section tyres and gets some flared wheel arches with black cladding to heighten its SUV like stance. Nissan Kicks in India is bigger than its European counterpart and it measures 4,295mm in length, 1,760mm in width and 1,590mm in height. It gets a huge segment leading ground clearance of 210mm to suit Indian road conditions and a generous boot space of 400 liters.
Colours on offer include single tone color schemes like Aspen White, Brilliant Silver, Gun Metal Grey, Monarch Orange, Deep Blue Pearl, Super Black and Cayenne Red and dua tone options in shades of Aspen White with Monarch Orange Roof, Aspen White with Super Black Roof, Gun Metal Grey with Monarch Orange Roof and Cayenne Red and Super Black Roof.

Nissan Kicks is powered by a 1.5 liter petrol engine which churns out 106 PS power and 142 Nm torque and a 1.5-litre diesel engine that makes 110 PS power and 240 Nm torque matched to a 6 speed MT gearbox. ARAI claimed fuel efficiency stands at 14.23 kmpl for the petrol engine and goes all the way to 20.45/19.36 kmpl for the diesel engine depending on the variant you choose.
