May 2019 have been a historic year of BJPs grand success. Prime minister Narendra Modi have spellbound the voters too with this great win. Nobody have anticipated this other than the so called Modi Bhakts, the “Modi supporters”.
After this grand victory, everybody in the BJP troup is in the celebrations mode. But as they say, “with big power comes big responsibility”. This is the highest power which anybody in a country can have but as much as it has the power, the Job if being the Prime minister is even bigger a responsibility.
Although Modi and his government have not shown any major positive change in the country in the course if his previous 5 years long journey, there are still no hopes from him.
In the last Elections, he talked of “Bharat ka Vikaas” and have also talked about new employment opportunities but ironically, there were no new jobs added to the tally. Infact the Businesses which were already established have faced a severe downfall thereby badly affecting the economy of our country. Let’s see what else goes down in this term of ‘Modi Ji”.
Nevertheless, the truth is that Modi is back again and the country is going to have a really hard time under his PMship.
Prime minister Narendra Modi had his swearing-in ceremony on 30th May 2019. Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) are attended the ceremony. Other than India, this cooperation includes countries like Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Thailand.
However, there is no sign of Imran Khan, the prime minister of Pakistan being present in the ceremony.
In 2014, when Modi was related as the Prime minister of the country, all the nations belonging to The South Asian association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) have been invited for the ceremony. And SAARC nation have Pakistan also. Last time, in 2014, the then prime minister was invited but due to the recent tension developed between India and Pakistan led to this.
The present chairman of Shanghai cooperation organisation, also the former president of the Kyrgyz Republic have also been invited for the ceremony.
Furthermore, the Prime minister of Mauritius, who have been the cheif guest of this year’s Pravasi Bhartiya Divas, have also been invited for the swearing-in ceremony.
BJP is popularly known as Bania Brahmin party. And Narendra Modi have been using Hinduism as one of the most powerful tools to woo hai voters. The first important decision he took in 2013 when he was made the leader Candidate for BJP was to appoint Amit Shah as the general secretary of the party. And Amit Shah have shown his great election skills by making Modi government win the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
Although Modi have claimed to unite the country as a whole but he is always seen in this temple or the other with clear intentions of using it as a strategy for winning the elections.
Speaking to the media, Mitra the former BJP Rajya Sabha MP, said
“Modi is different. I don’t think it intimidates others. He is a devout Hindu. There is obviously a Hindu element and ideological plank in his actions. It is not surprising that many of his actions are intended to unite Hindus and to create us and them scenario.”
